So, This is Christmas...

Believe it or not, I made these cards long before Thanksgiving with every intention of mailing them out the week of...

WELL, when I sent them in to have them printed -- they came back WAY darker than I wanted them. SO, I re-did them... lightened them significantly, and sent them again. And well, they came back fine.

That's the only real excuse I have, and it's not a good one.

We've all had this cold thing going on for a while now, we've been in and out of town, we have had tons going on with SJ's school, and let's face it -- when you are pregnant, you're just tired.

Needless to say... these babies never made it to the mailbox this year, but I did have good intentions.

We have been blessed with so many wonderful people in our lives and I sincerely hope that they aren't offended by my slacking of the Christmas Cards.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy upcoming 2011.

As for the Houston's, we will be spending Christmas morning here at home ...our little family of three. Sarah Jane is at the end of her rope with excitement and George is just as bad she is! Me? I'm holding my ground and we won't be opening anything, not one thing, until Christmas morning --- no matter what kind of tricks they try to pull. After the holidays, I'll be traveling to see my Mom, My Grandmother, and 6 of my siblings... and yes, we will all be in the same house. It's going to be a blast!

That was me last year. I was due on Jan 6th, so I said, "I'm not going to send out Christmas Cards, we'll just be sending out Birth announcements after the new year" Well, needless to say last week, I sent out "birth announcements/we moved" cards. I.am.terrible. haha

This way, I don't have to feel bad when I throw it away! I can see it here any time I want.
