Lights of Love

This post is a little late... I guess I'm losing my blogging enthusiam.

Last week Phoebe Putney Memorial hospital and The Junior Women's Club of Albany (a group that I have been a part of for 2 years) had their 25th anuual Lights of Love celebration. This is a special program designed to raise money for Cancer research and support. People can "sponsor a light" by sending in $25 in honor or memory of someone in their life that has suffered from cancer. In the 25 years that Lights of Love has been going on, the JWCA has raised well over 1 million dollars. I'm proud to be a part of an organization like this. This year was very special because Grandbubba got to be there. She is definitely the brightest light in Sarah Jane's life... and she is still with us because of many many prayers, miracles, and the wonderful doctors and staff at Phoebe Putney that helped her beat Lyphoma last year.
