My favorite song by JB is "Home"

Recently I have had the oppurtunity to photograph lots of different musicians. I must say that this is very quickly becoming my favorite thing to shoot. These are of a childhood friend of mine that has found some much deserved rocognition. I wanted to share these with you so you can see them/him... but also to tell you about his music. He is incredibly talented, so check him out. Below is a little bit about him...

"JB grew up in a small town in South Alabama "just a one red light town somewhere between no where and the beach." JB began playing guitar at the age of 5. He learned to play starting with Hank Williams tunes and gospel classics. With roots in country, JB traveled the South performing at festivals, fairgrounds, and anywhere people would listen. During a small stint at the University of Alabama, JB's music began to be influenced by legends such as the Allman Brothers, Warren Haynes, Black Crowes, and the classic Southern blues rock. JB's first CD contained many hits that have grown popular in South Alabama such as Home, Outlaws Like Me, and Drinking and Thinking. In 2006, JB released "Every Step" a compilation of 11 original southern rock hits. These solidified JB's position in the Southern music scene. "Friends of Mine" continues to be the most requested hit off the album."
